Rental agreement

These terms are between you and Septic Solutions LLC dba Prairie Johns ("Prairie Johns", "we"). By booking, you agree to them.

The rental

We deliver portable restroom units and any add-ons you book to the address you give us. The units stay our property. You are renting the use of them for the dates or billing periods in your booking.

Job site rentals

Job site rentals are billed every 28 days, starting on the day you book. Your first charge includes delivery and the first 28 days. Billing continues until we pick up the units. You can request pickup any time. Billing stops at the end of the 28 day period in which we pick up. We service units on the schedule you chose (weekly or every other week).

Event rentals

Event rentals are paid in full when you book and cover the dates between drop off and pickup in your booking, up to 7 days.

Changes and cancellations

Contact us as early as you can if your plans change. If you cancel an event before we deliver, we will refund your payment less any card processing fees, unless we have agreed otherwise. Once units are delivered, the rental is earned.

Placement and access

Choose a level, solid spot our truck can reach. You are responsible for telling us about gates, codes, animals, underground lines, and anything else that affects safe access. If we cannot reach a unit for a scheduled service, we will let you know and come back when we can. A missed service caused by blocked access is not refunded.

Care of the units

Please use the units only as restrooms. Do not move, tip, or put anything other than human waste and toilet paper in them. You are responsible for loss or damage beyond normal wear while the units are on your site, including vandalism, fire, theft, vehicle damage, and tipping. We will tell you the cost of any repair, extra cleaning, or replacement before we charge it.

Payment

Card payments are processed by Stripe. If a recurring payment fails, we will contact you. If we cannot collect payment, we may pick up the units. Invoiced accounts are due within 15 days of the invoice date.

Weather

We may delay a delivery, service, or pickup for unsafe weather or road conditions. We will let you know and reschedule as soon as it is safe.

Liability

We are not responsible for injury or damage caused by misuse of the units or by conditions on your site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the rental.
